The various techniques employed in "Smile Design" are as follows:

• Orthodontia - This is a specialised field of dentistry by which malaligned teeth (crooked or crowded teeth) are straightened into their normal positions by using braces, wires etc.
• Veneers - A veneer is a paper thin custom made covering that conceals the front and side surfaces of the tooth, much like a mask or an artificial fingernail. It is made of ceramic or composite resin. Cosmetically, veneers looks very natural. They are very versatile.
  Ceramic veneers (made up of ceramic) are more durable and may require 2-3 sittings. Whereas composite veneers requires only one sitting.
